Todd Chapman, Lindsay Buck, and Natalie Newman attended the SAME Federal Business Opportunities Symposium at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Garden Grove on December 5.
The event highlighted capital program updates in the region from notable speakers representing the following agencies:
· Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Southwest
· U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Los Angeles District
· Los Angeles METRO
· Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA)
· Veterans Affairs (VA) West
The symposium brought together individuals and organizations in the fields of engineering, architecture, construction, and environmental services in support of the U.S. military and federal government. SAME members include a mix of military personnel, engineers, and related professionals from both the public and private sectors. Captain Laurie Scott, Commanding Officer, NAVFAC SW, was the keynote speaker.
