Environmental/Land Use Planner (CEQA/NEPA – Land Use Planning)

ECORP Consulting, Inc. is seeking highly motivated, dynamic, client-centered professionals to fill a need for both senior- and associate-level environmental and/or land use planners in our new Chico office. We are looking for team members with a strong working knowledge of: CEQA/NEPA compliance regulations, environmental permitting, resource management; and, land use planning and land development practices and regulations.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of and a background and interest in the areas of land development, public agency land use planning, environmental resource management, development permitting and environmental analysis with a focus on CEQA and NEPA projects. Team members should have a willingness and desire to learn and work in a fast-paced and professional environment. Candidates should have the ability to multitask and the judgment to prioritize projects and tasks while meeting deadlines and expectations. Strong writing and communication skills are also required as candidates will work directly with clients, elected and appointed officials, agency staff and members of the public.

Additional qualifications include proficiency with standard PC-based computing programs to include MSOffice-suite applications; a willingness and ability to work a non-standard or fixed schedule to meet client needs and expectations; and, the desire to work as a team to create an office environment that is beneficial for both clients and colleagues.

Air Quality/GHG/Noise Analyst

ECORP Consulting, Incorporated is seeking highly motivated, dynamic, client-centered professionals to fill a need for both senior and associate level air quality/GHG/Noise Analysts to lead our team in our new Chico office. We are looking for team members with a strong working knowledge of specialized software and industry tools to include:

  • CalEEMod; EMFAC; and HARP 2;
  • Experience working with local, state and federal noise and air quality models and protocols;
  • Experience and knowledge in the areas of greenhouse gas emissions analysis and carbon sequestration; and
  • Sound modeling software and hardware to include AutoCADD-based modeling software, use of noise meters and data collection field equipment; post-collection data processing tools.
