3D South Vernal Pool Open Space Preserve

ECORP Consulting, Inc. was retained by the builder to perform environmental services for the 74 acre residential development and associated 9.7 acre preserve within Three D South project. ECORP staff conducted biological construction monitoring in accordance with the projectís USACOE permit and Section 7 requirements for vernal pool fairy shrimp (Branchinecta lynchi) and vernal pool tadpole shrimp (Lepidurus packardii). During construction ECORP monitors coordinated with the owners and construction contractors to provide recommendations regarding Best Management Practices (BMPs) for the open space preserve to help limit impacts to sensitive biological resources. In addition to performing biological construction monitoring, ECORP staff and project management successfully obtained various wetland permits and authorizations, and has worked with the preserve manager (Centex Homes / the City of Lincoln) to help ensure that the protected wetland and upland habitats continue to function as intended.

  • Assisted Centex Homes in developing the Operations and Management Plan.
  • Designed SWPPP and filed for coverage under the SWRCB CGP for Centex Homes as well as for the previous land owner, Beazer Homes.
  • Developed the Operations and Management Plan for the Open Space Preserve.
  • Conduct biological monitoring and reporting for the Open Space Preserve in accordance with the Operations and Management Plan.
