We are currently recruiting for the following positions at our Rocklin office:
Biologist :
ECORP Consulting, Inc., a leading environmental consulting company, is seeking fisheries and wildlife biologists from junior to staff level. They will conduct basic to complex field surveys, navigate with aerial photographs and topographic maps, record various data parameters using standardized forms or field notebooks, document standard operating procedures for various projects, and have experience preparing biological reports. Experience with California terrestrial and aquatic wildlife and excellent writing skills are a must. Northern California experience with nesting birds, amphibians, fisheries, benthic macroinvertbrates, wetlands ecology, special status species (e.g. giant garter snake), and general knowledge of vegetation communities desirable. Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) required. Junior/Assistant level needs 2 years experience and Staff level needs a minimum of 4 years’ experience.

Natural Resources/Regulatory Compliance Services Manager :
ECORP Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Natural Resources/Regulatory Compliance Services Manager. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies that will maximize resources, programs and target growth opportunities for the natural resources and regulatory departments and the Company as a whole. This individual will be instrumental in the development and management of staff and client relationships. Candidates must have demonstrated skills in identifying and optimizing team and Company resources. Must possess strong management skills including recruiting, hiring and instilling a sense of accountability among team members. The position will also require implementation of a professional development program to address employee experience, skills, and career tracts. The position will be based in the Sacramento Region.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or related field. Master’s Degree and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred plus 15 years of industry experience including a minimum of 8 years in management. Must have a strong technical background and an established network within the environmental consulting marketplace. Working knowledge of Section 404 Clean Water Act permitting, CEQA, NEPA, CESA, ESA and related environmental regulations. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are critical to this position, as is an ability to manage and lead scientific staff. Must possess a vision and passion for the sustainability and measured growth of the firm.

Senior Cultural Resources Specialist :
ECORP Consulting, Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced senior cultural resources specialist for our Rocklin office. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: serving as project or task manager for projects in Northern California; coordinating project tasks to meet cost and schedule objectives; supervising and participating in field and laboratory work; authoring cultural resources technical reports; developing new business from referrals from new and/or existing clients and assisting with marketing efforts; preparing cultural resources proposals and assisting with the preparation of multidisciplinary proposals; assisting the Department Director or Cultural Resources Manager with supervision and review of department staff members; and training staff in cultural resource project/task completion and reviewing work of other team members.
Requirements include: a master’s degree in anthropology or a closely-related field (which is pertinent to the field of study); a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with three years of experience as a Principal Investigator in northern California; experience working with the Sacramento District of the US Army Corps of Engineers; proven ability to serve as senior author of cultural resources management reports; project management experience, including a proven ability to be on time and on budget; a strong working knowledge of the federal and state cultural resources regulatory settings; excellent problem solving skills, particularly in complex CRM projects; ability to function effectively in a team environment, but also to work independently; ability to communicate effectively in writing and through oral presentations; and strong organizational skills and work ethic. Business development skills and candidates with specialized technical expertise are preferred.
